INTRODUCTION

Welcome to my personal portfolio. My name is Simeon Dotkov. I currently live in Varna, Bulgaria. I spend my free time arranging music, programming electronic tracks, simple mastering and sound recordings. I have no diplomas for a musician as I never got to study in a specialized college devoted especially to music. Most of what I learned is from my experience with many string instruments and an ear for almost every type of music. 

University education began as a student in Economy, but before the end of the first semester, I was broke and unable to pay for the next, putting aside the fact that I lost interest in the specialty completely.

My soundtrack passion began when I met the movie director Ludmil Lazarov for whom I made a couple of scores and finally, music for his TV show. During that time, I was also a comic script writer for a few magazines like Virus Comics. However, this kind of work is more about intense connections and this is why I chose music as a professional direction.

Later on, I got into freelancing and making music for video games like Warscathed and other small projects of Syntonic Drone Studios, but as luck would have it, all the projects got disbanded and all the teams' effort proved in vain. Right now, I am working at a normal job in my town just to make a living. I hope in time I will have a chance to get paid for making music and fullfill my biggest dream - Live in Japan and produce music for as many anime series as possible.

This is my personal website through which I hope to get your attention. Most of the music is old, but whenever I make a track just for the hell of it, I will certainly upload it here.
